Mosaic Courses

I teach both beginners and experienced mosaicists in an informal and friendly setting. Although I teach classical styles and techniques, the emphasis is on individual creativity. You'll learn how to cut and arrange the tesserae; how to grout and complete a mosaic; and will be introduced to traditional mosaic patterns or 'opuses'. Beginners will get a thorough grounding in basic techniques; experienced students can try out new techniques. You can bring your own materials, although everything needed to create a mosaic is available during the course.
