Cadzow Glen Mosaic
This project formed part of a scheme to renovate the Cadzow Glen Park in the centre of Hamilton, Scotland, and was commissioned by ‘Hamilton Ahead’. The circular mosaic has a diameter of four metres, and is constructed of white limestone, black marble, and green Westmorland slate. The mosaic features one of the white Cadzow Cows that feature in local historical legend. Recently, a herd has been built up again, and provides a fitting symbol for the recent rejuvenation of the Hamilton area.
