Mosaic Courses

Rosalind teaches both beginners and experienced mosaicists in an informal and friendly setting. Although she teaches classical styles and techniques, the emphasis is on individual creativity. Students learn how to cut and arrange the tesserae; how to grout and complete a mosaic; and are introduced to traditional mosaic patterns or 'opuses'. Experienced students can try out new techniques. Students can bring their own materials, although everything needed to create a small mosaic (including glass and ceramic tesserae) is available during the course, at prices comparable with standard mosaic suppliers.
